Solange is one of the most exciting Latin-American artists. Her paintings deeply rooted in the colorful nature and culture of the Brazil. The vivid colors reflect the country from the Amazon basin to the cool top of mountains of the country and the irrepressible optimism of its people. Her paintings are exotic, seemingly incredible, yet for those of us who traveled the length of the Amazon river, her restraint is obvious. Her paintings seem like as if she viewed the world through the eyes of the native Indians, deeply spiritual and grateful for the beauty of every inch of her part of the planet.
